js-horseman Densely textured, full of gravity, and sorrow; sounds that I would anticipate hearing from a cello. Listening to Pestilentia Magna is like being pulled down into an otherworldly realm where thousands of ghosts are begging the listener to heed to a great warning.

about

two weeks experimenting and recording with a borrowed cello which
resulted in a concept album about the black death.

once again an abum focussed on a single source of sound (no other instruments, samples &c. were used.) and once again an album made with an instrument i'm not capable of playing.

cello, laptop, composition, cover: stefan schmidt
